1. Foundation

The person responsible for processing personal data is Sonian Forest Foundation, a private foundation, hereinafter ‘the Foundation’, Rood-Kloosterstraat – Molenaarswoning, 1160 Oudergem. (Belgium).

2. What data do we process and for what purpose?

In the context of your contacts with the Foundation, the following personal data of yours are processed (= stored, saved, used …):

– first and last name

– e-mail address

– address details

– telephone number

Life PROGNOSES will use your name and e-mail address to send you our newsletter containing information about activities, services, and other interesting information which we think may be of use or interest to you unless you have indicated that you do not wish to receive such e-mails. Unsubscribing from these mailings is possible at all times via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mailing.

Your name, address details, telephone number and e-mail address are used to answer your questions or calls, to provide you with the information you have requested or to deal with your questions and to send you invitations and information about the organized services and activities.

3. Security measures and processors

3.1. To protect your personal data, the Foundation has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures. In this way, your personal data are protected against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

3.2. To process personal data, the Foundation sometimes makes use of the services of third parties. They process the personal data exclusively on behalf of the Foundation. The Foundation has concluded a processor’s agreement with them which obliges the processor to comply with all obligations under the Privacy Act, the European General Data Protection Regulation, and this Privacy Policy.

4. Rights of access, deletion, complaints, and questions

4.1. Via our contact form or by letter, you can request to see, receive, change or remove your personal data. The Foundation will always process your request promptly and inform you, in any event within one month after receipt of the request, of the action taken. If the Foundation does not grant your request, it will inform you of the reasons why.

4.2. If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data as referred to in Article 2, please contact us. The Foundation will immediately, and in any event within one month, deal with the objection and remove the personal data concerned, unless it is unable to do so on account of a statutory obligation. If the latter is the case, the organization will inform you of this.
